Louisville defeats Boston College 79-47

Despite knowing there will be no NCAA Tournament birth this year the Louisville Cardinals still came to play against Boston College. Winning 79-47 the Cards improved to an 18-4 (7-3) record while the Eagles drop to a 7-16 (0-10) record.

With a supportive and energetic atmosphere to start the game the Cards shut down the Boston College Eagles early on. Through the first nine minutes of play Louisville led 19-2, allowing just one Boston College field goal.

The onslaught wouldn’t continue as Boston College made a game of it in the second half. With Louisville’s leading scorer in senior Damion Lee out for the game the Cards had to turn to a balanced team effort.
