Louisville clubs ACC tournament record 7 home runs in 15-10 win over Clemson

The Louisville baseball team may have momentarily saved its season on Tuesday with a crowd-pleasing 15-10 win over Clemson in which multiple ACC tournament records were either tied or broken.

The Cardinals clubbed seven home runs in the win, setting a new ACC tournament record. The 11 combined dingers between the two teams were also the most in tournament history, breaking the old record of eight.

U of L first baseman Alex Binelas contributed the most to the record-setting afternoon, tying an individual tournament record by hitting three bombs. He finished the game 4-for-5 with six runs driven in.
