If there was going to be a year where Louisville basketball had every opportunity to go on a magical run, it was going to be 2019-20.
Chris Mack returned one of the deepest, experienced, and a talented core group of upperclassmen in the country while bringing in a top 10 recruiting class headlined by McDonald’s All-American, Samuell Williamson.
It was set up to be a fairy tale.
While things obviously didn’t go according to plan, the season overall was still a major success and for us fans, still a ton of fun.
