After losing to Kentucky, Louisville dropped for the first time in the polls. Now, the Cardinals have restarted their rise up the polls after their win over Wake Forest.
It felt like forever between the Kentucky loss and the Wake Forest win. However, it paid to give our guys rest because we are right back to where we were before the Kentucky loss. I wish I could say it’s like the Kentucky game didn’t matter (but sadly, we know that’s just not true).
After falling back to 18th in both the AP Top 25 and Coaches’ polls, the Cardinals are back to being ranked 16th in both.
