The cold hard truth is Louisville Basketball is firmly in a slump. The Cards have backed up their collapse against Duke with a shaky win against Clemson and a rather embarrassing loss on the road at Syracuse on Wednesday.
The road doesn’t get any easier with #3 ranked Virginia Cavaliers coming to the Big Yum! on Saturday at high noon.
A loss to Virginia could further bury the Cards and truly lead to some soul searching down the stretch. BUT a win on Saturday would right the wayward ship, refocus the Cards, and reaffirm Louisville’s legitness in both the ACC and in the country.
