Louisville wrapped up its play in the ACC Tournament with a 7-1 loss to #8-seed Clemson.
The Cardinals were already eliminated from advancement in the tournament after losing to 12-seed Boston College yesterday, but were still looking for a win against Clemson to leave on a high note heading into Monday's selection show.
Unfortunately, it would be Clemson who left with a high note, adding a win against a top-ten opponent that possibly puts them in the NCAA Tournament as an at-large team. The Tigers had a sensational performance from starting pitcher Mat Clark, who carried a perfect game into the eighth inning.
