Louisville (3-4) heads to Lexington to face off against in-state rival Kentucky on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
The eighth-ranked Wildcats are the second ranked opponent the Cardinals have played in a week.
Last Thursday, Louisville pulled off an 85-78 upset road victory over nineteenth-ranked Michigan State.
Kentucky (7-0) trailed in last season’s matchup by 13-points before taking control of the game late in the second half to defeat Louisville 77-68.
While five freshmen a part of the nation’s top-rated recruiting class have played plenty of minutes for coach Jeff Walz, sophomores Mariya Moore and Myisha Hines-Allen and junior Briahanna Jackson.
