End of the first quarter- Louisville and Virginia Tech tied 13-13. All seven Cardinals that have played have scored, but no one has more than one made field-goal. Virginia Tech hit two three-pointers late in the first quarter to close the gap.
4:54 first quarter- Louisville leads Virginia Tech 7-5. Carter hit a three-pointer from the wing a few possessions ago, her shot has really improved over the past few weeks, the sophomore seems much more comfortable releasing the ball. Louisville is three of six from the field.
