Kyle Hornback’s suit against Katina Powell was dismissed in May, but a counter-suit looks to get money from the Miss Kentucky victor.
Originally reported by the Courier-Journal, the lawsuit filed by company attorneys of “Breaking Cardinal Rules” alleges Hornback and other plaintiffs joined the controversy to “extort” money and gain notoriety.
Hornback originally sued Powell, the author of “Breaking Cardinal Rules,” for alleged damages to the value of her U of L degree.
