Kentucky has opened as a 1-point favorite over Louisville for Saturday’s annual Battle of the Bluegrass rivalry game at the KFC Yum Center.
The Wildcats opened as a 6.5-point favorite last year and closed as a 5.5-point favorite in a game they went on to win by a score of 90-61.
Should the spread hold, it will mark the fifth straight time Louisville has gone into a game against Kentucky as the underdog. The good news? Favorites have failed to cover the spread in eight of the last 10 meetings between the Cards and the Cats.
