Lamar Jackson just keeps getting better and greater. The time has come.
The former University of Louisville quarterback, Heisman Trophy winner and Most Valuable Player in the National Football League will have his No. 8 jersey number retired on Nov. 13 during a ceremony at Cardinal Stadium in a game against Syracuse.
Appropriate that the Heisman-like image of Jackson leading over another player was in a game against Syracuse. And on another touchdown run, of course.
Jackson will join Johnny Unitas as the only other player in UofL history to have his number retired.
