I would classify Alderman as a “Thumper” type of Linebacker. He gets downhill quickly and makes strong tackles at the point of attack. He should fit well in the role we saw Dorian Etheridge man the last two years. Alderman isn’t going to make a bunch of plays outside of the numbers but he won’t be asked to do that much.
