You might remember a couple of years ago when a small group which included Jamon Brown and Kevin Ware launched PURP -- "People Uplifting Real People" -- a group dedicated to helping young people find a purpose through community service and other programs.
Ware has since transferred to Georgia State, but Brown and the rest of the organization officially became a 501c3 nonprofit earlier this month. Now, the organizers can start approaching schools to start teams to partake in community service projects for the 2015-16 school year.
"Our goal is to get a movement of love basically spread across Louisville," Reynolds said.
