The who’s who of Louisville Sports folks have spent all week on the backside at Churchill Downs covering the 4 legged athletes.
Derby Week is the one time during the sports cycle that I feel completely out of place. This is the week that Universty of Louisville and those who cover it go to the horses. The UofL band will play my Old Kentucky Home at the Derby for the 82nd time today, New Mens Basketball Coach Chris Mack will call ”Riders Up” and you’ll catch a glance at Cardinal Stadium as the horses come down the stretch.
