Louisville defensive coordinator Bryan Brown made it very clear when he was hired that he felt that some players were playing out of position last season. So, he has had some guys change positions which led to a need at the linebacker position. Brown was able to help fill that need today with the addition of graduate transfer linebacker TJ Holl. Holl comes to Louisville after a very good career at Colgate.
Holl finished the 2018 season with 121 tackles and 17 tackles for loss. He was also named the Patriot Leagues defensive player of the year. Holl is a very quick inside linebacker that plays sideline-to-sideline and uses his exceptional closing speed to get to shoot gaps in the line to get to running backs.
