Despite not getting his name called on Thursday night's NBA draft, former Cardinal Damion Lee will have a chance to make an NBA team playing for the Miami Heat in the NBA summer league next month. Miami plays in the Orlando league, and their summer league will tip off on July 2nd. Despite being the leading scorer for the Cardinals last season, Lee was looked at as a 2nd rounder at best.
Not only is Lee getting invited to play in the summer league, but so is Russ Smith.
