A week removed from an underwhelming showing against No. 3 Clemson, No. 19 football romped visiting Kent State 49-3. The three-points allowed is the fewest points allowed since since Sept. 26 2016.
Junior Lamar Jackson had a high-percentage day of passing, completing 18-of-22 passes for 299 yards.
Senior running back Malik Williams rushed for a pair touchdowns and totaled 90 yards.
First quarter
The Cards started the game off with a 69-yard pass from Jackson to Jordan Davis. Williams punched in the score three plays later.
Williams found the end zone again, cutting back on a zone read for a 38-yard run.
