Lots of playing time for freshman Kylee Shook in the University of Louisville’s 89-47 win over Evansville in a women’s basketball game Sunday at the KFC Yum! Center.
Shook, a 6-foot-4 forward from Colorado Springs, Colo., had a coming out performance of sorts, making the most of her 17 minutes on the court. She plays under control, well within Jeff Walz’ team approach, and earns the confidence of UofL fans.
The likeable Shook lets the game come to her, and she’s ready when the ball comes her way, whether she needs to pass, rebound or shoot. A model citizen in the women’s basketball world.
