When training camp begins for the 2019-20 NBA season, a couple of former Cards will be in new spots. Ray Spalding has signed with the Atlanta Hawks, and Deng Adel with the Brooklyn Nets. These moves were announced on Thursday.
Spalding spent his time last season with the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns. A lot of his season was spent in the G League for the Texas Legends (Dallas Mavericks affiliate) where he played 29 games and averaged 15.9 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. After being waived and then picked up by the Suns, he did get some opportunity late in the season for the 19-63 team, who tied for the second worst record in the league.
