Carlik Jones earns First Team All-ACC honors

Carlik Jones did not become the first Louisville men’s basketball player to be named conference Player of the Year — that honor went to Georgia Tech’s Moses Wright — but he did become just the third Cardinal to be named First Team All-ACC.

Jones and Wright were joined on the First Team by Pitt’s Justin Champagnie, Duke’s Matthew Hurt and Virginia’s Sam Hauser.

U of L’s David Johnson was named an Honorable Mention All-ACC performer, while Jae’Lyn Withers was named to the league’s All-Freshman Team. Withers also picked up five votes for ACC Freshman of the Year, an honor that went to Florida State’s Scottie Barnes.
