When star wide receiver James Quick was carted off the field in the second half of Louisville's season-opening loss to Auburn, Cardinal fans understandably feared for the worst. Now, less than a month after that scary scene, Quick's head coach says there's a "good possibility" that the sophomore will be back on the field for U of L's game against Samford on Saturday.
"James hopefully will be back," Bobby Petrino said during Wednesday's ACC coaches teleconference. "He practiced yesterday. He looked good in practice. He actually got probably three-quarters of the work in, and he woke up this morning and felt good.
