Big second half carries Louisville to 77-69 win over Boston College

A big bench effort from Jordan Nwora and monster second halves from Deng Adel and V.J. King carried Louisville to a 77-69 win over Boston College Sunday afternoon at the KFC Yum Center.

The win moves the Cardinals to 5-1 in the ACC, matching the program’s best conference start since joining the league in 2014-15.

After carrying a 31-29 lead into the break at halftime, U of L spent much of the second half looking like it would roll easily to its fifth conference win. The Cardinals led by 18 points with just 2:47 to play before a remarkable flurry by Boston College — and some highly questionable decision making by the home team — resulted in U of L’s lead being just two points with 32 seconds to go.
