Despite being named the 2017-18 ACC Player of the Year, Asia Durr wasn’t the player the league’s media picked for the preseason version of that award heading into 2018-19.
That was a mistake.
Over the course of the last four months, Durr swayed any doubters she may have had and will head into the postseason as the first repeat conference Player of the Year in the history of U of L women’s basketball. A three-time first-team All-ACC selection, Durr is averaging 21.4 points for the Cards, which ties her for first in the ACC and 13th in the nation.
