Early June isn’t the most usual time to receive notable news out of the Louisville basketball program, but this has been an eventful week for Rick Pitino and the Cardinals.
On Monday we learned of transfer Trey Lewis’ minor injury. He’ll miss two-to-four weeks with a muscle straing.
Earlier this evening UofL sports information director Kenny Klein sent out a release regarding a recent injury for sophomore to be Anas Mahmoud.
According to the release, Mahmoud will miss four-to-six weeks after suffering a knee injury. He’ll have surgery to repair a torn medial meniscus in his left knee.
