The most decorated player in the history of Louisville football will continue his career in Baltimore. The Ravens selected Jackson with the last pick of the NFL Draft’s first round Thursday night after trading up and taking the Philadelphia Eagles’ pick.
Jackson was the fifth quarterback selected in the draft, following Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield, USC’s Sam Darnold, Wyoming’s Josh Allen, and UCLA’s Josh Rosen. Those first four players were all taken in the top 10.
In 2016, Jackson became the youngest player ever to win the Heisman Trophy after rushing for 1,571 yards and 21 touchdowns while passing for 3,543 yards and 30 more scores.
