RUSTON, La. -- Anthony Duruji scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Louisiana Tech remained unbeaten at home with an 85-78 win over Houston Baptist on Saturday night.
The Bulldogs will play five of their seven games in December at home and will leave the state only once.
Ian DuBose got Houston Baptist within a point, 37-36, by hitting a 3-pointer with :39 left in the first half, but Ra'Shawn Langston answered with a layup and Louisiana Tech went into intermission up 39-36. The teams traded leads to start the second half, but Langston scored at the basket to put La Tech up for good with 14:51 left.
