Despite being one of the largest sports league in the world, the National Football League has the public image of a prison league.
Last week, a public release of documents showed that the New York Giants’ kicker Josh Brown had admitted to physically beating his then-wife in 2015. Tuesday, the Giants released the kicker. Brown, who had already served a one game suspension at the beginning of the season for a May domestic abuse arrest, missed last week’s game as well when the documents came to light.
