LAFAYETTE, La. – Three different ULM student-athletes picked up points for the track & field program on the first of three days at the 2016 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships on Friday at the Ragin’ Cajuns Track Facility.
As a team, the ULM men sit in fourth-place overall, while the women are tied for ninth.
For the fourth consecutive year, senior Joseph Womack earned a podium spot in the javelin after finishing in second-place with a throw of 64.11m to rack-up eight points for ULM. In four seasons, Womack collected a gold medal, two silvers and a bronze at the SBC Outdoor Championships.
