The Warhawks’ (1-4) trip down to the Big Easy turned out to be anything but easy. The tennis team once again traveled down south to take on an in-state opponent. ULM took on LSU in a series in January and got swept in two 0-4 losses. Last week, ULM hosted a home match versus Missouri State and pulled out a 4-3 win. Friday’s match featured New Orleans (3-0), which won last year’s matchup with a 4-3 score. In the doubles stage, UNO’s Ana Kouchnareva and Ksenia Reznitskaya defeated ULM’s Giovanna Pereira and Mackenzie King 6-0 to take the first match.
