LAFAYETTE, La. – The Ragin' Cajuns claimed the lead on a pair of goals late in the first half, then added a third in the opening minute of the second half to take a 3-0 decision over the ULM soccer team Sunday at the Ragin' Cajuns Soccer and Track Complex.
"I thought we started well today but again a few errors have cost us," ULM head coach Sean Fraser said. "We're disappointed with the result, but we need to move forward and start concentrating on Friday now with better energy and a better mentality."
ULM had an early scoring opportunity in the third minute as sophomore Juliette Reitsma fired on goal, but Cajuns' goalie Lauryn Starwood made the save up high.
