FOLEY, Ala. -- The ULM beach volleyball team narrowly fell to the No. 3-seeded UNCW by a score of 3-2 and was eliminated from the Sun Belt Conference Beach Volleyball Championship at the Foley Sports Tourism Complex on Friday (April 25).
ULM's Kaitlyn Beck and Madeline Marquez picked up their second win of the tournament playing in the No. 1 pair after a thrilling three-set win over Gabby LaPata and Sarah Thompson (21-17, 10-21, 15-13). Katie Felts and Maggie Cox roared back for a victory in pair four after dropping the first set 19-21 to Tamsie Black and Sophia Puhala and won set two 21-11 and the deciding set 15-12.
