The Warhawks (5-2; 3-1 SBC) hoped to use this momentum to propel them forward into another victory. Ultimately, the Jaguars (4-4; 3-1 SBC) bested the Warhawks 46-17 after a scoreless second half.
After kickoff, South Alabama scored the first touchdown following a series of rushing attacks. ULM responded with a touchdown, resulting from Aidan Armenta’s deep pass to senior Davon Wells.
