TROY, Ala. – Seven first-inning runs and a complete game by Troy pitcher Noah Edders culminated in an 11-1 run-rule defeat for the ULM baseball team on Friday night.
Isaiah Walker started the top of the first inning with a double on the second pitch but was picked off in the next at-bat. The Warhawks (19-21, 5-12) came up empty in the frame after a Henry Gracia Jr. pop-out. The Trojans (28-11, 12-5) put two runners on with two Daniel Gonzalez walks.
