MONROE, La. – The ULM soccer team aims to build on the first 5-0 start in program history and seeks its first-ever six-match winning streak when the Warhawks face Mississippi Valley State at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Stadium.
The match was originally scheduled for Aug. 22 in Itta Bena, Mississippi, but was postponed and later moved to Monroe.
ULM achieved the best start in program history with a 6-1 win at Southern on Sunday. The Warhawks have outscored opponents 17-2 this season and a 13-1 margin over two matches last week.
Junior forward Courtney Marten has taken the team lead in goals despite playing in just three matches and 124 minutes.
