HAMMOND, La. – ULM (0-1-1) traveled to Southeastern Louisiana (0-1-1) on Sunday and battled through two overtimes to end the game in a tie, 1-1.
"We showed a lot of heart tonight," head coach Keyton Wheelock said. "It wasn't always pretty, but they had grit and fought the entire game."
ULM started the pace out quickly with a shot by Camryn Ciaramella that was saved by Nadine Maher two minutes into the game. Southeastern answered with a shot five minutes later by Mya Guillory that went wide right.
At the nine minute mark, Guillory took another shot that was saved by Angel Hailey.
