RUSTON, La. – The ULM softball team (1-6) was defeated by the Arkansas Razorbacks (6-0) in the second day of the Louisiana Tech Classic. The Razorbacks got off to an early lead, with the Warhawks unable to rally, closing out the game in the sixth inning, 11-2.
Arkansas got off to a fast start in the third inning and once they got started, there was no stopping them. Two home runs, a double and a single drove home six runs in the top of the third, putting ULM at a 6-0 deficit.
Two singles in the fourth inning picked up two more runs for the Razorbacks, giving them the 8-0 advantage halfway through the contest.
