FLORENCE, Ala. – The ULM softball team (18-10) swept the Detroit Mercy Titans (3-13) in the North Alabama Tournament on Sunday morning (March 9), 9-1, in six innings. The Warhawks close out tournament play with a one-hitter, going 3-2 on the weekend.
Both teams opened play with an empty two innings. The Warhawks posted three hits over the first three innings, but were unable to convert them into runs. The Titans struck first, a walk and a single leading the way for the sacrifice bunt that scored the lone run for Detroit Mercy.
