LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The ULM men's and women's cross country teams each finished in sixth place at the Little Rock Open Saturday at War Memorial Park.
The ULM women totaled 156 points to finish in sixth place. Missouri State took the team title with 29 points. The Warhawk men amassed 138 points to finish in sixth. Central Arkansas won the men's race with 26 points.
In the women's 5K race, senior Benadine Chelimo paced the Warhawks, finishing 12th overall in 19:22.2. She was followed by freshman Eliana Battle in 19th place in 19:52.2. Sophomore Kaye-Loni Bowden was 48th in 22:14.
