ULM’s Big Comeback Falls Just Short on Senior Day

MONROE, La. – ULM chipped away at a 6-0 deficit throughout the second half of the game, but it ultimately dropped a 7-6 decision to Little Rock on Senior Day Sunday.

Dalton Thomas’ opposite-field solo homer gave the Trojans the lead in the top of the first, and Ryan Scott plated their second run of the game in the third on an RBI double just inside the third-base line.

Little Rock (25-23, 16-11 SBC) added two more in the fourth and fifth innings, thanks to an RBI double by Zach Baker and a two-run single by Ty Gunter, to make it a 6-0 margin.
