ULM Women’s Basketball Signs Self to NLI

MONROE, La. – Gara Beth Self, a 5-foot-8 guard from New Albany, Mississippi, who scored over 2,000 career points while leading Ingomar High School to three 2A state titles, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend ULM and play basketball in 2019-20, according to an announcement made Tuesday, May 14 by first-year Warhawk head coach Brooks Donald Williams.

Self, who joined the varsity basketball team as a seventh-grader and became the starting point guard as an eighth-grader for Coach Trent Adair, led Ingomar to a combined record of 191-34 (.849) over six seasons, including three-straight 2A state championships from 2016-18.
