MONROE, La. – Linda van Schaik, a 5-foot-10 guard from South Holland, Netherlands, and regular member of the Netherlands National Team, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend ULM and play basketball in 2019-20, according to an announcement made Sunday, May 19 by first-year Warhawk head coach Brooks Donald Williams.
On Saturday, van Schaik helped Orange Angels Academy to a 58-45 victory over Batouwe (Bemmel) in the Dutch (NBB) U20 Premier League Championship. In March, OAA won the Cup Finals.
She averaged 10.0 points per game for CTO Amsterdam, coached by Molly McDowell, during the 2018-19 season.
