RUSTON, La. – Making it nine first-place finishes through two outdoor meets, senior Joseph Womack and juniors Alton Clay Jr. and Adriunna Brown earned gold medals on Saturday for the ULM track & field program at the Jim Mize Invitational on the campus of Louisiana Tech.
The Warhawks also sprinted for a first-place finish in the final event of the day, the men’s 4x400m relay. The team of senior Nigel Cribbs, junior Andre Phillips and seniors Mark Demus and Andrew Tate clocked in at 3:18.11. It was more than a second faster than ULM’s time of 3:19.
