MONROE, La. – It was another tough loss for ULM soccer on Alumni Day, as the Warhawks fell to Appalachian State 3-0. The Warhawks drop to 0-16 on the season and will host Troy on Sunday for Senior Day, kick-off is slated for 1:00 p.m.
The Warhawks came out strong and held possession for a majority of the first half. ULM would not allow the first goal until the 23:44 mark when Appalachian State's Mary Perkins netter her second goal of the season with a chip shot over freshman goalkeeper Bre Truscott.
ULM trailed 1-0 at halftime and well into the second half, but a late offensive push by Appalachian State would lead to two more Mountaineers goals in the 71st and 84th minute.
