SAN MARCOS, Texas – The ULM tennis team (3-5, 0-2 Sun Belt) fell 0-4, to Texas State (11-3, 2-1 Sun Belt) in San Marcos on Friday afternoon (March 14). After the Bobcats claimed the doubles point, ULM battled to find singles wins, but Texas State found three more points quickly to close out the contest.
Doubles duo Hatem/Cado fell first to Texas State's Fortuno/Simme, with Krnjic/Molina close behind, though they kept it close, going to seven points. Alvaro/Li were in the process of fighting in a tiebreaker after a 6-6 tie when the Bobcats clinched the doubles point.
