MONROE, La. – The ULM soccer team is now 4-0 on the season, having defeated the Nicholls State Colonels 4-0 on Sunday afternoon. Goals from Emelie Kobler, Jensyn Lins and Kai Douglas sent the Warhawks to their best season start in a decade.
The first half of the match started uneventful, as both teams began to rack up corner kicks and fouls. After a penalty kick taken by the Colonels and saved by goalkeeper Emerson Roberts in her first start, the opportunity opened for a free kick by ULM.
