MONROE, La. – Under fair skies and temperatures in the mid-to-upper 80s, fourth-year ULM head coach Matt Viator sent his team through a 2-hour workout in shorts, jerseys and helmets on Friday, Aug. 2 to open preseason football camp.
"We're off to a good start," Viator said. "The guys came out with some excitement, energy and effort. I thought the players had a good attitude and really competed through every period. It was hot and humid, and I thought the guys encouraged each other to push through the 2-hour practice.
"We looked like a team and ran some good plays.
