POINT CLEAR, Ala. -- The ULM women's golf team wrapped up its season at the Sun Belt Conference Championship after falling to top seed Georgia Southern, 3-2, in the match play semifinals on Thursday (April 17) afternoon at The Lakewood Club in Point Clear, Ala.
Matilda Svahn rallied after being down one to Georgia Southern's Louise Reau within the first three holes and won holes four, five and six consecutively to take a two-hole lead. Svahn claimed hole nine after sinking a birdie. Reau trimmed Svahn's lead to one at hole 13 before Svahn pushed her lead back to two holes with a birdie on 14.
