MONROE, La. – Thanks to four Top-20 finishes, the University of Louisiana Monroe men's cross country team placed third (67 points) in the Azalea City Classic Friday, Sept. 8. The Warhawks finished behind Louisiana (26) and host South Alabama (35).
The ULM women's team took fourth (81 points), behind host South Alabama (32), Louisiana (35) and Alabama State (76).
The Warhawks had two Top-10 finishers in the men's 6K race, as sophomore Kipkirui Victor (18:50.8) paced the team with his seventh-place showing, followed by junior Elias Keter (18:57.6), who took 10th.
