MONROE, La. -- The large amounts of rain have come and gone over the past week, and the ULM tennis team will get its first action outdoors when Alcorn State visits Tuesday for a 1:30 p.m. match.
ULM holds a 16-0 record against Alcorn State in the all-time history, including four consecutive shutouts.
The Warhawks suffered back-to-back 4-3 losses on Monday and Tuesday to Troy and Mercer, respectively, in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. The team entered the week with an 8-0 record, its best start since the 1995 season (13-0). Friday morning's scheduled home match with Western Kentucky was canceled due to the weather.
