MONROE, La. -- ULM starter Brandon Bell tossed seven strong innings and ULM got a trio of home runs en route to a 6-2 win over Appalachian State in Saturday’s series finale at Warhawk Field. With the victory, the Warhawks claimed the series, two games to one.
Brandon Bell (2-2) earned the win after seven innings of work in which he allowed just one run on three hits with three walks and seven punchouts.
Appalachian State (5-19, 1-8 Sun Belt) plated the game’s first run on a RBI single up the middle by Tanner Mann-Fix in the top of the third.
